Every schoolboy or schoolgirl has a secret dream.I also have one. I am going to tell you about it but promise you will keep my secret.
It concerns my future professional life. As you know , I am really keen on reading. I have a passion for books. For me, reading a book is a sort of adventure and writers , whatever their origin, fascinate me. Therefore, I’d like to become a writer.
First, I’ll start with a book that will be a collection of all my grandmother’s tales and stories. Then, I’ll produce novels. I hope to become as famous as the Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfoud.Maybe I’ll be awarded the Nobel Prize of Literatue,like him.
It will be possible too, to write about history, society and politics like the North-African thinker Ibn Khaldoun whose thoughts and ideas have remained alive till now. My sister, who will become a pediatrician next year, prefers Algerian writers such as Assia Djebbar, Mouloud Feraoun, and Mohamed Dib.
If my dream comes true, I’ll be so happy.I’ll be overwhelmed with joy at the publication of every new book.
