[ltr]- In my opinion it is a good idea because it will reduce the burdens on the family.[/ltr]

[ltr]2- You’ve arranged to have lunch with a friend tomorrow.[/ltr]

[ltr]   -  I’m having lunch with a friend tomorrow.[/ltr]

[ltr]3- Your brother is going to spend his mid-year holiday in Sharm . Warn him about the sharks.[/ltr]

[ltr]-  Be careful or you will be attacked by the sharks.[/ltr]

[ltr]4- Someone says that space exploration is too expensive. You agree.[/ltr]

[ltr] -  I agree. We should use the money to feed people.[/ltr]

[ltr]5- Someone says that computers are a bad thing. You do not have the same opinion.[/ltr]

[ltr]-  I don’t agree. Computers make our work faster/ easier.[/ltr]

[ltr]6- Your friend tells you that he is going to travel to space.[/ltr]

[ltr]    -  Really? I didn’t know that.[/ltr]

[ltr]7- You want to know about a friend’s energy-saving habits.[/ltr]

[ltr] - How do you save energy?[/ltr]

[ltr]8- You are asked about energy-saving habits.[/ltr]

[ltr]    - We should turn off the electric sets after using them.[/ltr]

[ltr]9- A friend asks for your opinion about modern novels.[/ltr]

[ltr]-  I think they are not as good as classics.[/ltr]

[ltr]10- A friend asks you what you used to read when you were five.[/ltr]

[ltr]   -When I was five, I used to read short stories.[/ltr]

[ltr]11- You want some advice about how you can eat more healthily.[/ltr]

[ltr] -  I want to eat more healthily. What should I do (eat)?[/ltr]

[ltr]12- A friend wants to meet new people, but he/she is very shy. Make a recommendation.[/ltr]

[ltr]  - You should join a sports club.        You should join a reading group in the library[/ltr]

[ltr]13- Ask your teacher for advice about how to do well in the next English test.[/ltr]

[ltr] - I’d like to do well in the next English test. What should I do?[/ltr]

[ltr]14-You want to make tea the English way. Ask your friend for advice.[/ltr]

[ltr] - Can you show me how to make tea the English way?[/ltr]

[ltr]15- Your sister asks for your advice about how to keep fit.[/ltr]

[ltr]    - You should do a lot of exercises.[/ltr]

[ltr]16- You are asked about your intention / plan to do after school.[/ltr]

[ltr]   - I’m going to visit my uncle.[/ltr]

[ltr]17- You phoned your friend several times, but he didn’t answer. Deduce. استنتج[/ltr]

[ltr]   -  He must have been asleep (out).[/ltr]

[ltr]18- Someone asks you why the Pyramids were built.[/ltr]

[ltr]    - They were built to bury the dead kings.[/ltr]

[ltr]19- You suddenly find out that there is no money in your pocket. You make a deduction.[/ltr]

[ltr]    - I must have lost my wallet.[/ltr]

[ltr]20- A friend suggests that you join a book club together, but you would like to join a sports club.[/ltr]

[ltr]It is a good idea but I ‘d prefer a sports club.[/ltr]

[ltr]21- Someone says that reading books is a waste of time. Disagree, giving a reason.[/ltr]

[ltr] - I don’t agree with you. They enrich our knowledge. تثرى[/ltr]

[ltr]22- Someone asks you how you usually travel to school .[/ltr]

[ltr]     - I usually go to school by bus (metro).[/ltr]

[ltr]23- Someone asks you where your friend Ali is. You are almost certain he is on holiday.[/ltr]

[ltr]He must be on holiday. I haven’t seen him for long .[/ltr]

[ltr]24- A friend asks you your opinion about the importance of the rainforests. Say what you think.[/ltr]

[ltr]- In my opinion, they are very important for the future of the earth.[/ltr]

[ltr]25- A friend who has never visited your country asks for your advice about places to see in Egypt.[/ltr]

[ltr]- I think you should visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx.[/ltr]

[ltr]26- Someone asks what you think about films which have been made from books.[/ltr]

[ltr]   - I think films are usually more interesting than books.[/ltr]

[ltr]27- A friend from England calls and asks about the weather. You see dark clouds in the sky.[/ltr]

[ltr] - I think It’s going to rain.[/ltr]

[ltr]28- A foreign friend wants to know how to make tea the Egyptian way. Tell him what to do first.[/ltr]

[ltr]- First of all, boil some water, and then add it to some leaves in a mug..[/ltr]

[ltr]29- A friend wants a job to help poor people. Advise him.[/ltr]

[ltr] - If I were you, I would work for a charity.[/ltr]

[ltr]30- You do not understand why it goes dark at night. Ask someone to explain it.[/ltr]

[ltr]  - Can you explain why it goes dark at night?[/ltr]

[ltr]31- Your mother was very busy yesterday. You regret not helping her.[/ltr]

[ltr]    - I wish I had helped my mother yesterday.[/ltr]

[ltr]32- Your friend starts to cross a road when you see a car coming. Warn your friend.[/ltr]

[ltr]- Firstly, because I can use it for e-mail and secondly, the camera is better.[/ltr]

[ltr]35- You are interviewing someone for a job. Find out about their qualifications and experience.[/ltr]

[ltr]- What qualifications and experience do you have?[/ltr]

[ltr]36- An interviewer has asked you why you have applied for a job in a particular company. Give reason.[/ltr]

[ltr]In fact I want to get a good salary.    [/ltr]

[ltr]37- You do not understand what distance learning is.[/ltr]
